I hardly use HDR software; I usually combine two exposures of one image in Photoshop if necessary. But this time I tried Photomatix Pro 5 since I shot three bracketed images below.
I followed this couple on one sunny winder day.
This is my first time to see this kind of duck at the Twin Ponds Park in Shoreline.
I wrote about negative space as background in White Space Negative Space. But you can photograph subject(s) as negative space — just shoot your subject as a silhouette.
First thing I noticed was “Dog Treats” when I began to walk toward Shoreline Farmers Market today.

If you want to see male and female red-winged blackbirds, go to a wetland where Typha angustifolia grow.
Waiting for the 50 years old bridge repair finish – mid May. It’s been a long time since I last went there.
